Buyer bears full cost and risk for securing and paying for the goods, freight, custom duties and taxes and obtaining export licenses and documentation, and complying with all laws, codes and regulations unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing prior to sale.
Mighty-Mite Mortars and small Pyro-Pots are boxed. We use a variety of box sizes depending on what you order. Our standard boxes are 18" x 24" x 26" each.
Pyro-Pipes are bundled with plastic strapping. The 5" have a maximum of 7 per bundle, the 6" have a maximum of 3 per bundle and the 8" have a maximum of 2 per bundle. Bundles must contain at least 2 mortars or odd numbers (3, 5, 7) in order to be bundled.
NOTE: UPS has a surcharge of $4.00 per package that is not in a box. This means there is an additional $4.00 for each individual 5", 6" or 8" or per bundle. We will always try to put bundles together so there as few as possible. At this point it costs less than buying large boxes to ship them in, which are not likely to hold up anyway given the way large packages get handled.
Most small orders are shipped United Parcel Service (UPS), United States Postal Services (USPS) or Fed Ex.
Most large orders (1,000 lbs or more) generally are shipped by common carrier.
All orders that are shipped "freight collect" requires a letter from the customer designating the carrier, the account number to charge the shipment to and any other instructions for the initial shipment.
